Demonstrates intimate-level knowledge of:

  • business analysis or related technical domain that is applied in the context of a broader understanding of information security and related systems and processes; - Contributing to the development of new technical domain subject matters;

  • Resolving complex problems by applying continuously significant independent judgment through collaborating with others;

  • Influencing others through a small team of direct reports, through work on projects and in teams, or through leading portions of larger projects;

  • Encouraging continuous improvement and refinement within Business Analysis and nurturing and developing less-experienced staff through coaching and written and verbal feedback; and,

  • Building and maintaining relationships across the network of firms to effectively deliver Business Analysis activities on the local and the network level.

Demonstrates intimate-level abilities with, and a proven record of success in:

  • Conducting business analysis processes;

  • Navigating components of a reporting program;

  • Tracking maturity using common information security frameworks (ISO, COBIT, NIST);

  • Building and maintaining relationships across a broad spectrum of lines of service and business units;

  • Working with multiple stakeholders across functional and technical skillsets; and,

  • Communicating the importance of metrics.

VIEW JOBS 2/15/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-05-15T00:00 Overview As a Business Process Analyst, you'll join an IT team responsible for administrating core C Spire process management and ticketing systems including JIRA, ConnectWise, and Confluence. You'll also work with internal teams in understanding process and workflow needs, making core workflow and ticketing system recommendations, and then implementing solutions within the system. The Business Process Analyst is expected to be or become an admin expert in one primary system of JIRA, Confluence, or ConnectWise, but will have cross-system opportunities to backup other respective experts in the other systems within the group. The Business Process Analyst is also responsible for ensuring system vulnerabilities are identified, and administering, maintaining, and patching the team systems. Responsibilities * Document and analyze operational procedures, processes, and problems to identify areas for automation or improved workflow creation in ticketing/workflow platform(s). * Research and respond to issues, availability, and support of end-users with ticketing/workflow platforms, time tracking system(s) and associated plugins. * Install updates and administer ticketing/workflow platform(s) including participation and technical assistance during major upgrades and integration, as well as, attending training as needed to increase subject matter excellence * Create routine and complex workflows including project workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes, and notification schemes per user project request. * Review existing workflows to evaluate effectiveness and propose system changes to improve productivity and continually research best practices for system improvement. * Define and report on trackable measurements of success for processes. Deliver reports, recommendations, or alternative for improving these processes. * Setup and maintain tasks, projects, and users in workflow and time tracking system for new and existing projects * Assist in the maintenance of the existing change management processes and development of improved change control processes, practices, and guidelines. * Other duties as defined by management. Qualifications * REQUIRED * Baccalaureate degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent desired. * Several years of experience in software analysis and design required. * Working knowledge of system development lifecycle methodologies, object-oriented development concepts, relational database concepts, and SQL expected. * Strong leadership, oral and written communications skills required. * Background must demonstrate the ability to operate effectively within a complex, dynamic environment. * PREFERRED * Intermediate UNIX/Linux administration knowledge and developer experience preferred. * Experience administering and maintaining Atlassian JIRA Server, Confluence, or ConnectWise expected and preferred. * Experience with business process modeling/mapping, methodology development, and data modelling preferred. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS: Must be able to sit for long periods and use computer keyboard and/or mouse while viewing computer screen.
