An International company, located in Plano, TX, is seeking a Business Systems Analyst for a 12+ month contract role.
This role will be working with the sales area on a retail transformation project. Seeking a resource that has experience working with a sales system (RouteOne preferred but not required)
Position

Requirements:
8+ years experience as Business Systems Analyst (BSA)
Experience working in different phases of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in Waterfall and Agile/Scrum
Analysis Investigate existing problems/issues and identify opportunities to determine the feasibility of a system solution besides identifying the general kinds of system solutions that appear appropriate
Project Plans and Timelines Work with end-users to determine scope, identify tasks and dependencies, provide estimates and evaluate resource needs and availability; revise project plans to reflect progress and changes in scope and priorities
Project Execution Assign tasks to resources, monitor progress along milestones, direct the end-user acceptance testing and manage the incorporation of ad hoc requests
Status Reporting Update end-users and project sponsors on the progress vs. plan via periodic documents, meetings and executive briefings
Connect with Business stakeholders for Requirements elicitation and Design Impact Analysis
Authored the Business Requirements Document (BRD) and Functional Requirements Document (FRD) creating design documents through client discussion, User Interface documents conducting Requirement Walkthroughs
Use of HP ALM, JIRA for tracking design requirements, defect tracking and reporting
Data and Analytics expertise to perform complex quantitative research and statistical analysis
Implemented Process Improvement ideas for effort and cost savings
Sufficient technical knowledge to work with technical teams being familiar with operating systems, databases, test & debugging tools, programming languages and participate in peer reviews
Conducted Join Application Design (JAD) sessions with Subject Matter Experts and business stakeholders to gain high level knowledge of business processes and drafted relevant documentations/artifacts accordingly
Designed workflows and process diagrams to derive requirements for existing system enhancements
Performed Gap Analysis to determine the "as-is" system situation and the "to-be" system objective and key requirements for system reengineering
Identified and prioritized outstanding defects, enhancements, and Change requests according to business requirements
Establishing strong Customer Connect
Experience in Project Management and Captive Auto Finance with Origination knowledge is added advantage

Follows established policies and procedures to complete work assignments utilizing the complete system lifecycle (SDLC).Job Description Responsibilities * Conduct business process analysis and needs assessments in an effort to align information technology solutions with business initiatives. * Facilitate the elicitation of business and systems requirements. * Use Business Process Modeling techniques and tools to create business process models. * Report against DB2 and Oracle databases via SQL tools * Coordinate system requirement tasks to include product design, integration, and testing considerations. * Work system support issues via a ticketing system, email inbox, and other various input channels. * Complete processes and migrations according to defined rules, standards and guidelines. * Conduct research and analysis to quantify business opportunities and develops formal recommendations to management. * Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, or technical procedures. * Analyze business unit requests and understand business requirements, work with various technical staff members to determine possible solutions and communicate business and system impacts to IT and Operations staff. * Work on project teams that are developing or modifying moderately complex information systems, including analysis and documentation of business and system requirement and revising existing system logic difficulties as necessary. * Prepare "as is" and "current state" documentation in written and graphical form (flows). May use project management methodologies to support a systems development methodology to meet project deliverables. * Serve as a liaison to all business unit and across divisions if necessary, when gathering requirements. * Participate in process improvement * Continually improve the quality and efficiency of work. * Assist/support developing and completing actions in system specifications, including technical requirements, product requirements, test considerations, operational concerns, and system constraints. * Interact with co-workers, project teams and business areas to develop decision-making documentation (i.e. business case) for potential new product development approaches. * Participate in the effort to develop new or revised processes or procedures in lieu of system development and assist with business process analysis and needs assessments in an effort to align IT solutions with business initiatives. * May serve as a participant in the Enterprise Architecture program. This may involve providing input as to how data is created, stored and used (re-used) as it relates to business processes. * Provide test scenarios or test criteria based on knowledge gained through business and systems analysis. May provide approval or quality check on test plans or test matrix. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in IT or business-related field, or equivalent education/experience, preferably in IT, accounting, investments or marketing. * Five years of experience in platform administration or business systems analysis with a focus on imaging and process flow products. * Experience in managing technical projects in a complex environment. * Ability to define and develop system requirements. * Basic understanding of JavaScript and web services. * Problem solving and critical thinking skills to identify best practice for standard business process design for technical requirements development, system interconnect/interface design coordination with subsystems, and development of cost estimates. * Written and verbal communication skills. * Organization skills and the demonstrated ability to multitask, including the ability to manage multiple diverse projects with competing deadlines. * Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. * Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers. * Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities. * Ability to accept/manage changing priorities and address issues. * Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment. Preferred Qualifications * Knowledge of systems methodology, project management, quality assurance and testing methodologies, graphical user interfaces, and relational database management systems. * Knowledge of insurance company operations. * Experience with mainframes, PC's and networks. * Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (including Visio), Remote Desktop, VPN, Microsoft Active Directory, Web Browsers, SQL Reporting tools, Adobe, JavaScript, web services, and AWD.
