Georgia-Pacific LLC is looking for a Business Analyst to join our data engineering and advanced analytics team at our Atlanta, GA headquarters. The Business Analyst needs to have strong understanding of manufacturing processes. Self-motivated, independent, and innovative thinker. They will analyze business IT systems, identify key requirements, and validate systems to ensure they meet the needs of our internal customers. They should show case the art of possible to the customers and help encompass them into detailed documentation. The Business Analyst will be expected to demonstrate organized approach to completing projects, documenting progress, and providing updates to key stakeholders. Additionally, they will be expected to execute work plans in a timely manner by accepting personal accountability for project deliverables.
What You Will Do
Connecting with business partners and stakeholders to develop and maintain strong working relationships
Defining project vision and strategy working with customers
Create business requirement documents and update project stakeholders
Create wireframes and build easy to use and customer friendly design patterns
Advise and develop the project vision into modern applications that are value driven
Create and review working solutions with users to convert user stories into workable solutions
Managing project scope by thoroughly understanding the business culture, environment, and people
Developing a comprehensive understanding of the business processes and systems
Collaborating on business requirements with IT professionals to develop, enhance and support new and existing applications
Performing functional and non-functional testing prior to the launch of product enhancements and troubleshooting application issues
Documenting requirements as user stories that communicate the expectations of the business to the project team, developers, and/or vendors
Work with building computer vision use cases
Delivering high quality solutions, you and your team can be proud of
Creating cutting edge applications that are leaders in the market
Bringing people together, asking good questions, and listening to what is needed
Honesty, and are open to providing and receiving honest feedback
Work as a team to maximize value creation
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Bachelor's Degree or higher
Proven experience in a Business Analyst role
Experience in project leadership
Manufacturing domain experience
Proven experience in UI application development
Proven experience with systems modernization and automation that resulted in value creation and streamlining of processes
Understanding of software design and programming principle
Experience with Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Word/Excel, etc.),
Experience working with Scrum teams
What Will Put You Ahead
Experience working with computer vision projects
Certifications
CBAP (Certified Business Analyst Professional)
PMP (Project Management Professional) qualification
PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner)
Experience with manufacturing process data
Experience with AWS services
Knowledge of SQL
