About this Position

Agency field compensation project team is seeking an intern with an interest and familiarity in business processes, business analysis and documentation. As a Business Analyst Intern, you will work with our experienced team of business analysts to support various projects and initiatives within the compensation department. This internship will provide excellent opportunity to gain hands on experience in business analysis, documentation and project management while making meaningful contributions.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create clear and concise documentation, including functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.

• Organize existing documentation

• Support project managers in planning, executing, and monitoring project activities.

• Assist in testing and quality assurance activities to ensure the successful implementation of solutions.

• Participate in training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge in business analysis and related areas.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas

• Strong analytical skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint

• Experience with SharePoint, Jira or Confluence, preferred but not required
