Key Responsibilities:

Review, analyze and evaluate business systems, processes, and company needs

Gather business needs from product owners and stakeholders

Prepare and deliver presentations to technical and non-technical audiences

Provide analysis, definition, and direction to software development activities

Act as the liaison between the product owners and the technical team members through the solution delivery process.

Assist project leaders by scoping the proposed solution leading to accurate cost and time estimates

Determine how changing business needs will affect current systems and processes

Ensure that specification documents meet the required business functionality

Review and approve requested system changes and develop detailed specifications for implementation

Identify and analyze non-functional requirements such as system performance, usability, reliability, adaptability, security, legal and other operational aspects.

Assist users in solving both functional and system issues within agreed-to service level agreements (SLAs).

Provide end-user instruction, training and support to resolve application issues.

Support applications, client interfaces, development teams, project and change management to realize value from system changes and development

Provide reporting on software performance and development velocity

Perform functional and regression testing

Coordinate software builds through different environments, including the coordination of testing and deployments

Identify and coordinate cross-functional dependencies through the release cycle.

Other tasks as assigned by management

Experience / Job Requirements:

At least 5 years working as a Business Analyst in an IT environment

At least 3 years working with an ERP system

Experience in the Business Aviation industry highly preferred

Experience in documenting complex business requirements and test scenarios

Experience working within the Scrum/Agile framework

Experience working with co-located and offshore teams

Experience with executing SQL queries and understanding the underlying structure of the most common SQL tables will be given preference.

Other knowledge or expertise required:

The position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills

Must be comfortable working closely with technical and business audiences

Must have strong business acumen

Successful candidate must be eager to learn the details of our Aviation business and become a true SME


Bachelor's Degree in business or technical discipline. Advanced degree a plus.

Infrequent travel of short to moderate duration.
