Responsibilities

  • Work alongside Software Engineers, Designers, and other Stakeholders on the team to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices as they relate to the project and general software engineering concepts.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Developers, QA, and other team members to achieve elegant solutions which satisfy business needs, goals, and objectives.

  • Provide recommendations for continuous improvement of development processes, technical solutions, and Lighthouse itself.

  • Create and Organize new features and enhancements for the platform in Confluence and JIRA.

  • Complete Market research to suggest best in class solutions for the platform.

  • Become an acknowledged expert and specialist for some parts of the platform. As a team, we know that not everyone can know everything, but as a Senior Business Analyst, you are expected to subject matter experts for features you work on within the platform on behalf of the team.

  • Diagnose and resolve issues with deployed systems using a variety of techniques including direct engagement with support personnel and customers.

  • Proactive assessment and analysis of existing systems to maximize quality and customer satisfaction, minimize maintenance costs and other operational issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, or Engineering or commensurate experience.

  • 2-5+ years experience collaborating with customers and stakeholders.

  • Experience working in an agile software development lifecycle (SDLC) by designing and iterating on software through analysis of functionality as defined by customers and stakeholders.

  • Proficient with testing work-in-progress deliverables to make sure they meet acceptance criteria and functional requirements as defined by a Product team as well as non-functional requirements defined by the development team.

  • A strong plus: Expertise and focus around Enterprise-related functionality including consolidated reporting and multi-store management a plus.

  • Great interpersonal, verbal and written skills including documentation of complex technical solutions (e.g., flow charts, UML diagrams, code comments).

  • Driven and wants to be part of a highly productive team that delivers products on a continual basis.

  • Restaurant POS experience or operational experience is a huge plus.

  • 10% travel (post-COVID) if not working in Allentown

Solution Definition Responsibilities * Demonstrates applied knowledge of common business use cases and scenarios and how specific Oracle module(s) are configured and used to automate key business processes in support of Procure to Pay, Fixed Assets, Purchasing, Expense Management, and General Ledger/Subledger Processing * Articulate of common business and system data models and can document, define, and translate both as-is and to-be state data flows * Able to apply knowledge of available configurations to analyze, recommend and define specific solution options that are fit for purpose for Paychex use cases with tradeoffs, configurations * Able to document requirements, use cases, user stories, acceptance criteria, current state/future state value stream maps, configurations, access controls, mapping/gapping, etc * ValueStream/Swimlane documentation * CEMLI Mapping and Gappng (AN10.30) * Setup documents (e.g., BR100/DS.030) * Access control definition documentation * Extension, Modification, and Interface functional and?requirements and solution definition Oracle EBS Implementation Responsibilities * Given standard setup documentation, is able to perform functional and roles-based access system setups and/or execute standard APIs in one or more assigned modules and/or can document/articulate common interface specifications using common data definition standards * In addition to skills outlined in (1), can demonstrate business scenarios in the configured instance, with knowledge of specific behaviors and relevant options that could be available when given feedback during the demonstrations * Can interact with and articulate behaviors and interactions that are driven by Extensions, Modifications, and Interfaces in the context of the overall business process and application or module set * Solution definition, demonstration, and articulation * Solution configuration (including workflows and API execution) * Requirements definition, value stream mapping, and gapping * Test scenario, case, and test script development * Test execution (functional unit, functional integration, system integration * Documented?and supportive knowledge transfer to production support and business users * Responsible for working with Oracle Support and other vendors as necessary to accomplish assigned work Oracle EBS Support Responsibilities * Responsible for response to and resolution of production incidents caused by issues with assigned Oracle EBS modules, including interactions as needed with Oracle support and support provided by hosting partners.
