  • 5:00pm, on call beginning at 6:00am any day of the week.

About Position

At Meter Technology & Operations, an operations analyst reviews data for anomalies, trends and identifies opportunities for improvement. This position is responsible for the preparation and presentation of operational reports that guide the optimal execution of work in the field. This position works closely with software support to ensure the FMOS field work management system is running properly and develops process improvements that may require system enhancements.

  • Gathers information from various sources and interprets patterns and trends thus affecting business decisions

  • Conducts analyses and prepares reports that provide operations and/or technical support to business operations

  • Conducts quantitative and qualitative research to support medium to large special projects

  • Assists with process design and modification for continuous business improvement

  • Support of the field work management software

  • Performs other job related duties as assigned

The top candidate should have extendsive knowledge in Excel's analytical functions, SQL language, and Business Intelligence tools (Report Builder, Power Pivot, Power BI and SSRS). Experience in using analytical tools such as Minitab, Python and Rstudio is a plus. Understanding of data models and relational databases, experience in analyzing large data sets, financial analysis are also a plus. Having a Bachelor's in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or other quantitative field is also a plus.

About the team Automotive Finance (AF) provides a solution specific to the automotive finance industry, supporting retail loans, leases (operating and finance), balloon accounts and simple lines of credit in a single consolidated solution. Key functions supported include subvention processing, securitization selection and reporting, private-label processing, dealer reserves, extensive backdating and hierarchical parameters to manage the portfolio. What you will be doing * Works individually or within a team on technology business consulting projects to meet specific client requirements. * Serves as liaison between end-users and consultants during consulting projects. * Expertly researches and documents client needs, technology or regulations related to system design, enhancement and acquiring hardware or software that will impact multiple platforms and/or applications. * Defines product scope, objectives and requirements. May mentor, guide, advise and/or check work of less experienced business systems analysts and technology business consultants. * May play a key role in training client and technical support personnel on enhancements, new systems or procedures.
