We are looking for a passionate, results-oriented Business Analyst to be a part of the Last Mile Product & Tech Finance team who will help drive reporting and analytics through owning defining, building, and scaling metrics in the Delivery Service Provider segment of our Last Mile Logistics function.
This role is highly analytical and we are looking for someone that can think beyond reporting and help drive insights. It requires an individual with excellent statistical and analytical abilities, deep knowledge of business intelligence solutions, and the ability to work with technology, product development, and business teams. The successful candidate will have passion for data and analytics, be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, an ability to work in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment, and driven by a desire to innovate Amazon's approach to this space.
The following provides some detail of the job duties and responsibilities:
Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions
Engage closely with cross-functional teams including business management, product management, finance, marketing, and engineering.
Build and analyze key metrics to uncover trends and root causes of issues.
Help define requirements for reporting and translate those requirements into effective data visualizations and analytical solutions
Derive insights from customer questions and usage data and provide input into new product development
Be responsive to the needs of consumers of the BI data and tools
Root cause research into identifying process breakdowns within departments and providing data through use of various skill sets to find solutions to breakdowns
