What does a great Business Analyst II do?
You should be skilled at problem identification. Understand current business procedures, problems with those current procedures, and possible solutions that use current modeling technology. This includes data gathering and exploration, research into current industry trends, and what competitors might be doing. As an Analyst you should be able to effectively collaborate with team to maintain relationships and be aware of coverage. You will not be managing people, however, you will be managing the processes.
As a Business Analyst II, you can look forward to:
Primary contact for manager for any process issues
Owner of any Process integrations and migrations
Supporting off hour initiatives, such as association releases, projects, etc
Assist with Team Meetings and plan Agendas
Knowledge of overall settlement processing across all platforms (North, South, Buypass, PaySecure, Omaha)
Networking with businesses and IT for project initiatives
Partnering with Accounting, Treasury and other Settlement Operations teams, to ensure wire transfers, cash balancing and day to day Debit balancing components are completed, daily.
Consult with senior peers on non-complex projects to learn through experience
Basic qualifications for consideration:
Working knowledge of Settlement Operations tools FSAMS, DGAMS, eRes Express Debit, etc.
Microsoft Office skills, specifically advanced skills with Excel.
Ability to create, manage, and analyze data
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrate effective situation management skills when under pressure situations
Time Management skills
Quality mindset and a "can do" attitude
Preferred qualifications for consideration:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Computer Science
Preferred experience 3-5+ years' experience working in a business team environment
Accounting and/or Banking background preferred
