Job Description:

The Business Analyst conducts customer, process, market, and resource analysis to develop plans, requirements, and solutions for internal and external customers. To achieve this goal, the Business Analyst will use traditional project management analytical frameworks combined with a deep understanding of the AssetMark business, cost structure, and customer needs to collaboratively develop solutions that are cost effective, efficient, and meet business needs.

Business Analysts participate in the full project lifecycle from conception through post-deployment. The Business Analyst will frequently have a lead role in compiling and presenting information regarding proposed solutions, high level and detailed business requirements, functional specifications, project progress, and post implementation effectiveness of deployed initiatives.

This position will primarily focus on current and future mergers and acquisitions from deal closing through integration planning and execution. Based on the acquisitions pipeline, this position will secondarily focus on strategic organizational initiatives, participating in IT teams to analyze, recommend, and implement business solutions. The Business Analyst will play a key role in all phases of these strategic business programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Serves as business liaison between business areas, senior leadership, and IT development and support for both internal and external customers

  • Elicits business requirements using appropriate tools and techniques including but not limited to interviews, document analysis, surveys, site visits, use cases, scenarios, business processes, task and workflow analysis

  • Analyzes and evaluates data gathered from multiple sources and distinguish user requests from underlying true business needs

  • Collaborates with business process owners to identify and maximize opportunities to use information and technology to improve product, service and business processes

  • Documents use cases, requirements and business rules, business model diagrams, and data requirements

  • Creates current and future state process and data models to help engage stakeholders and drive requirements gathering and gap analysis

  • Prioritizes and translates high-level and detailed business requirements into detailed functional specifications

  • Coordinates the review of requirements and specifications documents with the business and IT stakeholders to ensure all requirements and specifications are accurately reflected

  • Manages the change control, versioning, tracking, and traceability of all requirements and specifications documents throughout the project life cycle

  • Manages daily activities, working sessions, issue resolutions, and communications across project and support teams in order to deliver projects and enhancements on-time, on-budget, and within scope

  • Assists with the development of training materials and procedures including post production support documentation

  • Contributes to Project Management deliverables and metrics under the direction of the Project Manager

  • Aids in maintenance of project schedules and tracking of life cycle phases including timely project status reporting back to stakeholders and project team members

  • Engages with project stakeholders and motivates project team members toward common goals and objectives

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in asset management industry in the capacity of a business analyst, a business systems analyst, an operations analyst, or a customer relationship specialist working directly with customer or end users, gathering requirements and writing documentation

  • Minimum 3 years' experience managing relationships with customers and business partners in a complex and fast-paced environment

  • Experience in asset management platforms and applications

  • Experience working on complex, cross functional projects documenting client organization's direction, structure, business processes, requirements, and functional specifications.

  • Proven success in the following job competencies:

  • -- Strong knowledge of System Development Life Cycle

  • -- Strong understanding of automated testing, requirements analysis, and process modeling tools

  • -- Solid Microsoft Office skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio

  • -- Ability to use SQL Data Query Tools

  • -- Solid experience with requirements tool(s) and Project Management Reporting software

  • Experience consolidating research and data into cohesive and persuasive presentation materials and presenting findings and recommendations to senior management for review and approval

  • Self-directed and results driven with demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize and execute on strategic initiatives

  • Results driven, high performing team member with tangible accomplishments

  • Excellent analytical skills and business acumen

  • Strong communications and organizational skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse work group/team

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Information Systems, or equivalent

  • Ability to periodically work extended hours and occasional weekends

  • Light travel ~10%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Turnkey Asset Management Platforms and the asset management industry

  • Prior experience in merger and acquisition integrations or similar project work

  • Experience as a software developer, web developer, or an individual contributor in a technical field

  • Industry project and program management certifications such as PMP or Agile Scrum

JOB DESCRIPTION: The ASSA ABLOY Aftermarket Business Development Representative (ABDR) role is a dedicated field sales position reporting direct-line to and through the local Door Security Solutions (DSS) Directors/Principals to the DSS Regional Vice Presidents and the Executive Vice President of Sales for DSS. The ABDR will also have a firm dotted line accountability to and through an Aftermarket Regional Director (ARD) and the Executive Vice President of Aftermarket Sales for DSS. The ABDR role is responsible for cross-brand demand generation development and capture of ASSA ABLOY brand product sales (mechanical and electro-mechanical) within the targeted Aftermarket channel community including but not limited to targeted Wholesalers, Security Professionals and Systems Integrators. Aftermarket demand generation, project tracking, team collaboration and sales execution are critical to the success of the ASSA ABLOY ABDR. The successful ABDR is responsible for crafting high-value localized aftermarket business development programs with their DSS associates and peers to discover and advance business opportunities and competitive conversions with end users purchasing and acquiring aftermarket products and services. An effective ABDR will collaborate closely with all elements of ASSA ABLOY's DSS business development teams, including, but not limited to: DSS Directors and Principals, Vertical Market Specialists/End User Representatives, Wholesale/Distribution Representatives, Integration Solutions Specialists (ISS), regional Intelligent Key Business Development Specialists and Electro-Mechanical Specialists to positively affect aftermarket revenue growth within the territory; and to establish/protect strong ASSA ABLOY brand loyalty within the targeted community. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Create, track and close new aftermarket business opportunities for ASSA ABLOY brand solutions via the aftermarket channel community, across all vertical markets. * Meet and exceed targeted aftermarket sales objectives within the DSS territory. * Implement specific aftermarket channel development business plans with the targeted partner community. * Work collaboratively with local DSS associates and the Aftermarket Regional Director to develop a cohesive aftermarket attack plan customized to the specific territory. * Establish frequent communication and call activity to wholesaler partners, mid-tier systems integrators/security dealers, and Medeco Security Centers/security professionals servicing the aftermarket.Track all opportunities via SalesPoint and LeadPoint systems. * Possess cross-brand product knowledge in all segments of ASSA ABLOY brands/solutions, and collaborate closely with internal peers as required. * Identify new aftermarket account targets, including but not limited to end users, wholesalers, mid-tier systems integrators/security dealers, MSCs and security professionals * Assess and report on industry trends, market conditions and competitive activities.
