12611 – Business Analyst (hybrid) – Tallahassee, FLStart Date: ASAPType: Temporary ProjectEstimated Duration:12 months with possible extensions.Work Setting: telecommuting is currently only allowed at most, 3 days a week, with a minimum of 2 days a week in the office required. Telecommuting requirements are subject to change, as the Client’s requirements change, or at the discretion of the hiring manager.Required:
Experience in business process reengineering and documentation in a professional environment in a financial discipline (10+ years);
Experience with PALM solutions or financial-related projects experience. Preferred:
Government experience;
Experience performing QA reviews and provide valuable feedback in determining that standards are met and that documents are complete and comprehensive;
Job Control Language (JCL), Interactive System Productivity Facility (ISPF) panels, and supporting mainframe software;
Experience with Azure DevOps;
Experience with data conversion techniques, data cleansing approaches, and validating data relationships;

Six Sigma certification or similar business analysis and engineering certifications Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Lead User Acceptance and Florida PALM cycle testing; Confer with impacted personnel to ensure systems are performing as required;
Evaluate critical information gathered from multiple resources. Summarize detailed data into executive-level formats as well as breaking down aggregate information into meaningful pieces;
Help manage user stories, project backlogs, and sprint backlogs, participate in SCRUM meetings including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and sprint retrospectives within Azure DevOps;
• Use subject matter expertise, industry methodologies and best practices, and automated tools to analyze and make recommendations on behalf of the Client for required changes to complex financial-related business processes to align with the PALM solution;
• Assist in business process redesign and documentation as needed to support ongoing efforts in the Office of Work Program and Budget and Enterprise environment. Stakeholder interfaces. Oversee the development of testing strategies, data scenarios, and test plans to ensure functional requirements are addressed;
• Facilitate work sessions to elicit and prioritize remediation requirements. Identify any functionality seen as needed, but missing, in department-maintained systems. Include an analysis of outstanding remediation requests;
• Working on accounting and financial computing applications and monitoring complex interfaces with external systems;
• Interpret and communicate technical information related to computer programming and data processing, both verbally and in writing, etc.Why apply?
