Duties: Defines customer needs in technical and business contexts. Ensure the proposed technical and business solutions meet the customer's objectives for the work effort. Provide guidance with planning and prioritization of business support-related activities.

  • Elicit and document user requirements to meet a business objective. Identify and validate requirements and organize the information into a logical document that is understood by the customer and Information Systems.
  • Guide both technical and customer departments in the development of the systems that support the business solution.
  • Facilitate the transfer of knowledge about the direction of the business units to others who support them.
    -Ensure the accurate deployment of solutions through review of problem logs, assisting with test plans and test matrices, and other analysis activities.
  • Provide input on the business direction for system changes.
  • Validate the business need for solutions to business problems and process improvements.

Preferred Software and Other Tools: Visio, MS Project or similar software, data mining using DB2, SQL, and/or other tools.

Describe the role: The Sales Enablement Business Analyst is a key role for our firm providing technical and functional analysis to enhance the business processes of our sales teams and the technology that they rely on daily. The Business Analyst is a critical bridge between our client facing teams and the Client Group Technology team to enhance existing capabilities and deliver new ones. Describe the applications and business or enterprise functions the role supports: The role will require a deep understanding of how the organization uses available tools, including Salesforce.com, internally designed web and mobile applications, Seismic, PowerBI, and Marketo, among others, such that we are able to identify and implement innovative next-gen solutions to support the department's strategic goal of reshaping marketplace engagement. Managing work through Office365, Jira & Confluence are critical skills. The key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Partner with the Head of Sales Enablement Delivery to align a diverse set of stakeholders to deliver on strategic initiatives * Partner with Sales, Marketing, Business Intelligence, Sales Enablement teams to understand business needs, establish a roadmap, and ensure key milestones are met * Manage multiple short- & long-term projects simultaneously across a delivery cycle * Gather and define business requirements collaboratively with end users and development teams * Conduct required data analysis to support business requirements of products / projects * Track enhancement, support, and project-related queues via JIRA * Communicate project scope, goals, status etc. transparently to stakeholders * Write and execute test cases for new tools and reports; manage UAT where appropriate * Document training needs & materials with BI/SE team and broader US Retail Sales as required * Serve as subject matter expert for Sales Enablement related products and projects to share related knowledge with the rest of the technology team * Introduce, establish and enhance Agile practices across the teams, including "Scrum of Scrums" * Understand the industry and competitive landscape in the Sales Enablement space and bring ideas to the table which may be suitable for AB to pursue.
