Business Analyst

What You Will Do

• Facilitate requirements workshops and meetings with stakeholders.

• Conduct stakeholder interviews and gather system information to build a foundation for project assessments.

• Collaborate with remote BAs to ensure comprehensive requirement gathering and analysis.

• Gather, document, and analyze business requirements, processes, and workflows.

• Convert these requirements into precise and understandable functional specifications for technical teams.

• Lead and manage the project lifecycle from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery of all phases.

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including schedules, milestones, budgets, and deliverables.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and establish clear objectives.

• Facilitate regular status meetings, executive leadership meetings, and ad hoc meetings as needed.

Skills and Experience You Will Need

Required:

• 7+ years of experience in project management, specifically within software development and IT projects.

• Proven experience in managing large-scale projects involving current state assessments, system analysis and performance optimization.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with a keen attention to detail.

• Proficiency in project management and business analysis software tools, such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, and other relevant tools.

• Experience working in a professional services environment.

• Experience working with offshore teams.

Desired:

• CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or equivalent certification.

• Experience with system performance analysis and optimization.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.

• Scrum master experience.

• Strong knowledge of agile methodologies, including experience with scalable agile frameworks such as SAFe, LeSS, or Disciplined Agile.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on actual job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of remaining stationary at a desk and working on a computer

• Must be able to lift to 15 lbs., as needed

• Must be able to work on-site (corporate/client offices), as needed (not applicable for 100% remote roles)

• Occasionally required to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead.

• Hand-eye coordination necessary to operate computers and various pieces of office equipment.

• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, the ability to tolerate fluorescent lighting, and the ability to adjust focus.
