Business Analyst (Financial Systems/O2c)

The Commercial Finance & Transformation team within the larger Revenue Operations organization at RealPage is looking for a skilled and motivated business analyst with expertise in Opportunity to Cash processes to join our team. As a business analyst you will play a key role in identifying, analyzing, and improving our organization's business processes aligned to maximizing an end-to-end Oracle solution. You will collaborate with various teams and stakeholders, such as Sales, Legal, Customer Success, Billing, and Finance to identify business requirements, design innovative solutions, document future and current state processes, and drive the implementation of best practices to achieve our transformation objectives. Your analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and deep understanding of order and subscription management, cash and credit operations, and billing processes will be essential in this role.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process Analysis: Collaborate with fellow business SMEs, stakeholders, and IT to understand business processes, goals, and requirements to identify areas of improvement and recommend appropriate solutions to obtain desired business outcome.

• Requirements Gathering: Partner with order to cash SMEs, IT, and other stakeholders to collect and analyze business requirements for the FaCT Initiative.

• Solution Guidance: Provide input into design and configuration to ensure system solutions align with best practices and industry standards, recommending solutions to streamline and optimize financial processes.

• Data Analysis: Perform data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and insights that can inform financial decisions and system improvements.

• Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation, including process maps, use cases, and user stories.

• Critical Thinking: Evaluate, synthesize, and analyze information and provide insights and judgements and organize information to present to leadership.

• Change Management: Work with change management teams to ensure seamless adoption of new processes and systems.

• Testing and Quality Assurance: Collaborate with IT teams to develop test cases, conduct user acceptance testing, and ensure the quality and reliability of solutions.

• Project Management: Assist in project planning, monitoring project progress, and reporting to stakeholders.

• Training and Support: Provide end-user training and support as necessary for Rev Ops and stakeholder teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in a SaaS software license renewal operations, revenue operations, sales operations, or finance supporting operational role.

• Bachelor's degree preferred with background in Business, Accounting or Finance preferred, but not required.

• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Business Analyst, preferable in finance or transformation initiatives.

• Experience in Oracle Subscription Management, ERP, Salesforce or equivalent CRM system software a plus.

REQUIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES

• Familiarity with Quote to Cash business processes.

• Competency with Microsoft applications such as Excel, Powerpoint, Word, and SharePoint.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop practical and innovative solutions that improve business processes.

• Ability to manage, analyze, and track data for a sophisticated and often complex sales processes.

• Ability to work independently, multi-task, achieve tight deadlines, and take initiative on multiple projects.

• Knowledge of change management principles.
