Dominion Dealer Solutions, a division of Dominion Enterprises, is recruiting a talented, highly motivated and results-driven Business Analyst to contribute to the growth of a new cloud-based Dealer Management System called Dominion VUE. In this role you will apply analytic rigor to support product development business operations and KPI reporting. Further, you will be responsible to coordinate and conduct User Acceptance Testing between Dominion DMS and 3rd party integration partners. The ideal candidate would be a self-starter with excellent organization, analytical, and technical skills. Remote candidates within the continental United States will be considered for this role.
About the Role:
Document requirements utilizing various business requirement elicitation techniques. Collect, analyze, and develop these requirements ensuring alignment with business strategy.
Partner with Product, Sales and Customer Success teams to support product enhancements and process improvement
Act as a translator/interpreter between business and technology experts during requirements gathering and design discussions.
Assist in development and implementing test plans/scenarios to ensure successful project delivery.
Coordinate and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions with OEM and/or 3rd party vendors.
Quality Assure integration functionality prior to performing User Acceptance Testing.
Expand industry knowledge related to emerging information technology and business analysis practices and standards.
Well organized, highly motivated, and process driven with the ability to prioritize and collaborate in a multi-tasking environment.
Must be able to work remotely with limited interruptions.
Bachelor's degree from accredited university in a discipline related to business, IT, or equivalent work experience.
Comfortable working in SQL Server.
Postman experience is a plus.
Minimum of 1 year experience working within an Agile software development environment or within a data-related position within the automotive industry.
Deep knowledge of office productivity software (MS Office, Google Drive)
Experience working with development planning tools like DevOps or JIRA.
Basic understanding of the fundamental building blocks of the DMS especially Parts and Service, Sales and F&I, and Accounting.
Basic knowledge of enterprise level application architecture
