Business Analyst – Vertical Brands The Business Analyst's primary responsibility is to assist in the continuous improvement of the Vertical Brands department by focusing on business process development and analysis, maintaining RACIs and Quick Notes and triaging and monitoring reported issues or questions from the Vertical Brands and Cross Functional Partners to support the execution of the VB Time and Action Development Calendar. The person will also act as a liaison between the Vertical Brands department and the Technology development teams when process improvement activities result in technology/system development projects.
The Business Analyst will become the 'subject matter expert' for designated Vertical Brands business processes and the associated system functions. This position represents the business perspective within a technology development project. The Business Analyst will model existing business processes, identify opportunities for improvement and lead the implementation of process changes in support of the Operations and Process Leadership. Responsibilities : System Development Project Activities Work with business stakeholders to document business requirements for new and/or enhanced system development requests Participate in design sessions to ensure that technology solutions are in coordination with process changes and defined business requirements Act as a subject matter expert to evaluate Technology solutions that support Vertical Brands Processes Systems & Process Support Analyze reported issues from the CSC User Community in addition to external partners (Mill, Vendor and Factory Users) and support resolution with process or technology Communicate and validate business requirements with technology partners Develop both process and system documentation (process flows, RACIs, use cases, quick notes, etc.) to support the communication and adoption of new process and systems changes to support the Vertical Brands Time and Action Calendar Define success measures for changes and develop methodology to measure and report Business Process Improvement Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement Identify pain-points and points of failure in existing processes and propose alternative business process solution Manage business process management workshops including preparation, setup, facilitation and documentation activities to support the adherence and execution of new processes Coordinate/Assist in the development of training materials for the new processes and systems for the end users Qualifications : 3-5 years’ experience with cross functional business process analysis and business process management Excellent meeting facilitation, presentation and organizational skills Ability to work at a detailed level while maintaining an overall project perspective Comfortable with information technology development concepts Merchandise/retail experience a plus Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology or Organizational Leadership Compensation: $28.00 - $37.84 per hour ID: 3027
