Position Overview
As the Business Analyst, you'll serve as a vital liaison between the Board of Directors, management, legal teams, and the public. This role ensures board and committee activities run seamlessly by providing administrative support, managing documentation, and fostering communication-all while helping CapRadio meet its strategic objectives.
What You'll Do:
- Prepare agendas and coordinate logistics for board and committee meetings, including virtual and in-person arrangements.
- Facilitate document completion and approvals between board members, management, and legal teams.
- Produce accurate meeting minutes in compliance with Robert's Rules of Order.
- Maintain organized records of board documents and legal files while ensuring accessibility to stakeholders.
- Manage compliance tasks, such as conflict of interest statements and confidentiality agreements.
- Support onboarding of new board members and assist with larger initiatives, like the annual board retreat.
- Assist with venue administration and provide backup support for the reception desk.
What You Bring:
- At least 2 years of administrative experience, ideally in nonprofit governance or higher education.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficiency with tools like AdobeSign, Microsoft Teams, and content management systems (e.g., Umbraco).
- Familiarity with Robert's Rules of Order and experience producing accurate meeting minutes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CSU Auxiliary meeting requirements.
- Knowledge of nonprofit governance and legal compliance.
- Familiarity with board of directors and committee structures.
Compensation
This is a non-exempt, hourly position with a starting pay of $25.00 per hour.
Additional Information
- This position requires a background check as part of the hiring process.
- CapRadio is based in California, and this role will require the ability to work from our office and attend in-person meetings as needed.
