Job Profile Summary

CAI is seeking an experienced Business Analyst Consultant for a major client of ours in the Healthcare sector. Candidates are able to work from home. We are pleased to offer a full, comprehensive benefits package. The expected duration is 6 mos+.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Works collaboratively with IT resources and work to deliver solutions on time and within budget.

  • Candidate will take ownership of IT Projects, to include; assigning work to other team members, lead meetings and ensure timelines are being met.

  • Contribute to completion of all work assigned, adhering to the current SDLC process. Activities shall include analysis, coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and documentation.

  • Review and improve the existing coding process and provide mentoring to the in-house developers.

  • Design and review detailed functional specifications, system specifications, and program specific actions to be taken by the software to meet requirements and business needs.

  • Prepares estimates for maintenance and enhancement of existing applications and development of new applications.

  • Communicates accurate and useful status to Leadership and other management on a timely basis.

  • Monitors stability of production applications and remediate high severity production problems.

  • Direct multi-disciplinary teams across departments during the planning, scoping, analysis, design, and implementation phases of information systems projects.

Qualifications

  • Healthcare experience

  • Business Analysis/QA skills

  • 5+ Years of experience in an external client facing role.

  • Requirements gathering experience; Use Case Documentation experience

  • 5+ years of experience working in different environments including one or more of the following: Client Server, Services Oriented Architecture, Web based, Mainframe based and three tier architectures.

  • Experience with the AGILE Methodology

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard and monitor
