Epiq is a global legal services organization that emphasizes technological solutions to our clients' legal needs. The Beaverton office specializes in the administration of class action settlements, mass torts, and similar legal matters that impact large populations of potentially injured parties.
The Claims Business Document Analyst (BA) coordinates and participates in the review of claims forms, construction of data capture and import processes, and composition of processing procedures for the claims team. The BA also does their part to meet expectations of internal and external clients with respect to claim handling and Service Level Agreements.
Creates and documents business requirements
Interprets business roles and data mapping documents
Balances automated data integration against manual processing effort to maximize efficiency and quality
Sponsors implementation of data imports and processing procedures; including User Acceptance Testing and quality assurance
Observes, maps, streamlines, and documents internal department processes
Meets and exceeds departmental expectations for accuracy and productivity
Acts as subject matter expert for collecting, interpreting, and reporting department data
Other projects as assigned
GED or High School Diploma
Excellent attention to detail
Strong written English language skills
Ability to sit at a computer workstation for long periods of time
Demonstrated skill in analyzing data
Technical writing skills
Demonstrated success in a CA1, CA2, or CA3 role preferred
