The Business Analyst takes charge of strategically developing and implementing process enhancements and technological solutions within enterprise patient access. This multifaceted role involves refining pharmacy workflows, standardizing operations, optimizing technology applications, analyzing financial data, designing dashboards, and crafting effective training programs. They conduct in-depth data analyses to identify improvement opportunities, evaluate options, and prioritize redesign efforts to meet organizational goals. Serving as a liaison between pharmacy operations and other departments, they collaborate closely with Pharmacy Leaders to manage business processes. This includes maintaining a repository of objectives, process documentation, reports, databases, analyses, metrics, and indicators. Through routine reviews and analyses of business processes, intake procedures, workflow management, and job functions, they offer insights and suggestions for enhancements.
As a successful candidate, you will:
Handle special projects. Participate in annual budget process as it relates to improvement goals and initiatives.
Identify all the systems, processes and users that are impacted by the business problem, and/or the solution.
Ensure that the system/process users' interests are known and communicated to other project stakeholders.
Troubleshooting as a result of a reported process issues.
Conduct financial analyses and synthesize available information to provide decision support to Senior Leadership
Perform financial reviews and analyses in partnership with internal departments and external advisors.
Develop, maintain and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models as needed.
Develop financial and operational performance reports and present the findings to Pharmacy executive leadership as well as operational leaders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure and execute key strategic initiatives.
Maintains patient confidentiality as regulated by HIPAA.
