As a Business Analyst in product development team, you will be a member of a cross functional team that defines and delivers new features and functionality to improve the products.
The business analyst is responsible for delivering software solutions for Broadridge Advisor Solutions. You will be creating and prioritizing the roadmap and backlog. We use Agile/SCRUM as both a methodology and a mindset. Prior Agile experience is beneficial but not mandatory; We are looking for smart and ambitious individuals who live and breathe 'product' with an unquenchable drive to innovate, create and bring to market world-class software solutions! The most important thing is that you have a passion for operating with cool stuff and you can work harmoniously with a talented team of software engineers.
This is a contract position.
Work with Product Manager, Analysts and Subject Matter Experts to analyze requirements; define, document and prioritize user stories and groom product backlog
Refine user scenarios, personas, and user stories through working with Customers, Analysts, and Product Manager
Defining user stories and acceptance criteria
Providing direction for testing of new functionality
Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with business clients on a granular level
Able to decompose business needs into small, buildable components that create straight forward solutions
Ability to facilitate meetings among stakeholders
Passion for designing and creating technology products
Strong analytical skills with a track record of taking ownership and driving results Demonstrated problem solving skills
Self-starter who is able to solve problems with minimal oversight
Results-oriented with a proactive approach to resolving problem
Manage different projects, at times act as a project manager and ability to multi-task
Pursuing a Bachelor's, Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Product Design or related field
