We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our team.
Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates information technology systems operations or data output.
Documents and presents results.
Formulates and defines system/enhancement scope and objectives through research and fact-finding.
Exercises analytical techniques when gathering information from users, defining work problems, designing a system of computer programs, and developing procedures to resolve the problems.
Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
May write standard operating procedures or detailed descriptions of program functions.
May act as liaison between programmers and end user or customer.
Works under the immediate supervision of assigned project leader or manager; primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
At least four (4) years of experience in software-based reporting, data analytics and/or data warehousing;
Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures related to reporting, data analytics and/or data warehousing;
Ability to follow instructions from project manager/leader along with pre-established guidelines to perform business analysis functions; and
Strong Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel skills.
Able to perform all functional duties with the assistance of more senior personnel;
Knowledge of and experience in software requirements elicitation and scope definition through research, fact-finding, or user interviews;
Experience applying analytical techniques to gather information from users, define work problems, design a software solution, and/or develop procedures to resolve the work problems;
Good communication skills.
Candidate must be a US citizen or permanent resident
Education: Associate's degree or 2 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree
