Amazon Go is a new kind of store with no lines and no checkoutyou just grab and go! Customers simply use the Amazon Go app to enter the store, take what they want from our selection of fresh, delicious meals and grocery essentials, and go!

Our checkout-free shopping experience is made possible by our Just Walk Out (JWO) Technology, which automatically detects when products are taken from, or returned to the shelves, and keeps track of them in a virtual cart. When you're done shopping, you can just leave the store.

Amazon Go is looking for a superstar BA with strong technical skills, business acumen, project management skills, and a passion for the built environment. In this role, you will be responsible for building out systems, solutions, analysis, visualization tools and processes to inform our end-to-end store development process including Go store design, construction, launch, and facilities teams. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with big data sets and have the expertise to utilize these data sets to answer business questions and drive growth.

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Design, develop and maintain scaled, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, dashboards, etc. that will support our analytical, store development and business needs.

  • Research new solutions and make recommendations that meet and exceed business objectives. Perform application configuration activities when required.

  • Perform application and process-specific training activities to educate technical and non-technical users of the solutions you configure and support.

  • Partner with store development/business teams to consult, develop and implement KPI's, automated reporting/process solutions and data infrastructure improvements to meet business needs.

  • Apply your deep analytic and business intelligence skill to extract meaningful insight and learning from large and complicated data sets.

  • Serve as liaison between the Store Development and technical teams to achieve the goal of providing actionable insights into current business performance, and ad hoc investigations into future improvements or innovations. This will require data gathering and manipulation, synthesis and modeling, problem solving, and communication of insights and recommendations.
