The Business Analyst for Process Operations is responsible for identifying, analyzing, documenting, and coordinating activity necessary to meet business needs by influencing proposed solution(s) to improve business results and the effectiveness of operations. The successful candidate must be able to identify best practices, effectively communicate to the business and leverage our partnerships to resolve business issues, harness operational efficiencies and maximize effective use of tools within Digital Aviation and Analytics.
Develop strong partnerships with business and service units of Digital Aviation and Analytics in order to understand the strategic direction, business process, and business needs of these areas and translate them into value-added deliverables.
Prepare detailed functional specifications for development activities including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms.
Facilitate knowledge transfer, communication, and interaction between various functional organizations and the ITS department.
Propose changes where needed in business plans and then monitor the impact of such.
Work closely with business community to understand, analyze, and define information requirements in Oracle R12.
Using written documentation of user needs, achieve user signoff that the issue/need is defined and that the solution identified will address the need.
Work closely with ITS developers to create, verify and deliver solutions that have been defined.
Develop, coordinate, document and implement plans to test business and functional processes and perform quality assurance testing.
Lead business process issue resolution.
Lead functional testing (Unit, E2E, smoke testing and integrated tools) of patches and upgrades. Schedule deployment in partnership with ITS/stakeholders and assist with the coordination of User Acceptance testing.
Creates and maintains consistent and thorough documentation of all requirements, designs, and test plans etc.
Primary liaison between business and ITS team
Provide leadership in all phases of a project life cycle implementation, including gap analysis, mapping, design, configuration, testing, business process development, go-live and post production support.
Applies skills as directed by Manager, Process Operations.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or in a related field.
Five years' experience with Oracle E-Business suite with hands-on implementation/upgrade/support experience on Oracle Release 12.
Proficiency in Oracle EBS, Inventory, Manufacturing and Distribution modules.
Strong experience with testing of Oracle solutions as well as interfaces with third party systems, reports, workflows, customizations, conversions.

Demonstrated experience performing business analysis for Oracle Applications R12, including new implementation/upgrades.
