Requirements

1. 60 months of experience working in a NYS Local Department of Social Services (LDSS) using the Welfare Management System (WMS) and/or Benefits Issuance Control System (BICS).
2. 60 months of experience working directly with users providing support with the Welfare Management System (WMS) or Benefits Issuance Control System (BICS) through the use of the system or using data generated by these systems.
3. 60 months of child welfare experience interpreting regulations governing practice and program outcomes in relation to WMS/BICS and the populations they serve.
4. 60 months of experience leading or implementing projects involving the systems: Welfare Management System (WMS), Benefit Issuance and Control System (BICS), Automated Claiming System (ACS), CONNECTIONS, or other Child Welfare systems used by a Local District of Social Services (LDSS).
5. 60 months of experience working in an NYS Local Department of Social Services (LDSS) using CONNECTIONS (the New York State Child Welfare application).
6. Bachelor’s Degree
