Summary

The MIL Corporation seeks a Business Process Senior Consultant to support a Federal Government client with the business process analysis of a financial management system, focusing on federal Data Act compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Review and develop business process documentation related to Data Act requirements, identify gaps, and provide recommendations to improve processes

  • Identify opportunities to achieve compliance and improve internal controls, as well as opportunities to minimize system and agency operational costs

  • Guides development of Data Act process improvement and compliance strategies & activities

  • Lead organizational change and development efforts

  • Coordinates work with technology teams to help ensure people and process goals are aligned with federal requirements

  • Maps and redesigns key processes and technology changes. Facilitates work and communication between client and consulting staff and executives

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience performing business process improvement and change management tasks

  • Experience supporting federal financial systems

  • Knowledge of federal Data Act requirements, standards, and submission components

  • Knowledge of software development methodology and standards

  • Advanced problem solving, analytical and design skills

  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with CGI Momentum financial software

  • Relevant certifications such as CPA, CGFM, CMA, CIA, or CICA
