Texas A&M University's Rural Health Center is actively seeking a Senior-Level Business Administrator to join our dynamic team in Bryan, Texas. Here's your chance to drive financial excellence and elevate your career to new heights!

As an integral member of our team, you'll manage business operations handling a comprehensive range of activities including the review and approval of business documents, and the development and oversight of accounts and budgets. Showcase your expertise in RHC regulations by ensuring our clinic meets the specific financial and regulatory requirements set by CMS. This role is pivotal in guaranteeing the financial integrity of our clinic, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to all guidelines.

Here's a glimse of what you'll do:

  • Foster Continuous Improvement
  • Train staff on procedures, provide expert advice on administrative and fiscal matters, and evaluate customer satisfaction through surveys
  • Support Grant Management
  • Act as a key resource for principal investigators, aiding in grant developments, administration, and reporting
  • Solve Business Challenges
  • Identify and address business needs, propose solutions, and ensure the smooth implementation of business procedures

Familiarity with the distinct regulations and business practices unique to Rural Health Centers (RHC) is essential for this role.

Salary: Compensation will be commensurate to the selected hire's experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience AND seven years of related experience in general office, accounting or personnel operations.

  • Certified Rural Health Clinic Professional certification through the National Association of Rural Health Clinics Academy within six-months of hire

  • Knowledge of the RHC financial model and compentency in CMS RHC financial and operational requirements.

  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, medical terminology, and rural health clinic requirements with an emphasis on cost report requirements and compliance billing practices.

A well-qualified candidate would possess a Certified Rural Health Clinic Professional certification from the National Association of Rural Health Clinics Academy, backed by three years of experience in RHC business finance processes, hold a degree in business and finance and have experience in public sector and higher education finance and business operations, including familiarity with TAMU's financial operation, purchasing, and other systems.

This position may require work outside of the regular business hours, including nights and weekends.
