Tenneco, Inc. has recently acquired Federal Mogul. The strategic combination of Tenneco's Ride Performance business with Federal-Mogul's Motorparts business will establish a global aftermarket leader with an impressive portfolio of some of the strongest brands in the aftermarket including Monroe, Walker, Wagner, Champion, Fel-Pro and MOOG. The company's broader aftermarket product coverage, stronger distribution channels, and enhanced channel development will strengthen its position in established and high growth markets (China and India), and drive success through new mobility models and capturing evolving e-commerce opportunities.

We are looking for a dynamic Business Administration Manager who will lead the North America Original Equipment Shared Finance Team (4 direct reports). This team is responsible to manage, control, process and retain documents associated with a customer portfolio including: purchase orders, quotes, tooling, new part releases, prototypes, change notices, and service parts. A strong focus for this group will be customer order to cash processing and the successful handling of customer related documents and meeting customer requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accurately analyze and interpret documents across 7 legal entities and three product groups with emphasis on business impact to legal, logistics, compliance and financial detail; facilitating corrective action when appropriate with Commercial Business Units.

  • Facilitating team communication with Sales, Engineering, Finance or Production Facility personnel and other internal or external customers is required.

  • Actively participate with over 25 shipping facilities across North America in EDI workflow as well as successful order processing, accurate pricing and delivery to the customer.

  • Identify, develop functional processes and implement ongoing improvement actions.

  • Manage numerous customer portals to gather and share data while providing guidance throughout the entire customer business process across three product lines supporting $10mm of sales per day.

  • Prioritize work in a high-volume environment and communicate high impact financial related information.

  • Meet overall process requirements and audit compliance by retaining / providing all supporting documents upon request.

  • Manage functional connections with multiple systems and abstract data structures including electronic automation tools.

  • Manage the administration of the customer business relationship, validation of related master data and all connections throughout a manufacturing environment from contract to cash.

  • Manage and communicate up to 4,000 customer price changes per month to support proper financial impacts

  • Participate in special projects to create or improve key business processes with IT, Finance, Manufacturing, and Purchasing.

Required Experience

REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in an order to cash environment, preferably in manufacturing.

  • Actively participate as a leader in the success of order to cash management validating accurate financial and business interests for internal and external transactions.

  • Ability to gather relevant information / data, interpret legal and financial requirements, drive conclusions with significant financial impact.

  • Experience in leading/managing a team and projects

  • Active participation across functional teams to achieve the highest level of business success is required.

  • Lead and develop processes while facilitating resolution of process gaps / data complexities as needed.

  • Working knowledge/experience with SAP specifically in CO and FI modules desired.

  • Experience in Oracle database management and proficient in Microsoft products.

  • Experience in developing and establishing technical system process connections to meet business needs. EDI knowledge preferred.

  • Understanding the end to end process of manufacturing and facets of supply chain will be important for this role.

VIEW JOBS 10/11/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-01-09T00:00 JOB SUMMARY: The EDI Analyst is responsible to work with IT Technical resources from La-Z-Boy Residential and its sister Divisions to support all EDI activity that flows through our EDI third party provider. This encompasses the establishment of company standards and processes for all new and existing EDI transactions and trading partners, the management of our trading partner community, as well as defining the requirements for, testing and implementing new transactions. The EDI Analyst owns the relationship between La-Z-Boy and our EDI Third Party Provider and works with them daily to manage production support and ongoing projects as well as continuous improvement activities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned): * Serve as a liaison between all divisional trading partners and business functional areas. Provide EDI technical support to Support Services, external trading partners, IT Applications Services, internal and external customers and all third-party EDI software providers involved in the investigation and resolution of problems. Work to define root cause in problem situations, to enable permanent solutions that will maintain system integrity. Monitor daily EDI activity. * Manage large EDI projects, including conversions and upgrades. Follow the defined SDLC process for large projects, including requirement definition, collaboration on the system design, identification of test cases, coordination of testing through user acceptance, training, business signoff, implementation and post-deployment support. * Own the relationship with trading partners and their third-party providers. Make initial contacts with EDI providers and work with them throughout the life cycle of an EDI project, such as the implementation of a new or modified transaction. This includes the definition of requirements, communication and guidance to La-Z-Boy's EDI provider for mapping, testing, documentation, implementation and post-deployment support. * Author and submit all managed service requests for changes to existing transactions, new transactions and new trading partners. * Create and administer dashboards and reports on the EDI platform provided by the EDI managed services partner that allow for easy identification of EDI problems or failures requiring investigation or mitigation. * Create and maintain EDI specific documentation to support the management of a large trading partner community, transaction base and EDI project portfolio. This includes but is not limited to the Trading Partner Matrix, EDI Specs for supported transactions and the project status list. * Analyze and model the business processes and assist in the creation of workflows and technical requirements fulfilled by existing and proposed business solutions or applications. Ensure all processes ensure audit, backup and recovery capabilities. * Work with the business and key trading partners to establish requirements and maintain EDI standards for any transactions La-Z-Boy or any of its Divisions support. SCOPE & IMPACT: This position is the main resource to support all EDI activity for La-Z-Boy Residential as well as its sister Divisions. This involves a large complex community of external trading partners as well as internal customers to support La-Z-Boy specific processes. Inbound and outbound EDI transactions support accepting and acknowledging dealer orders, invoicing, customs clearance, transportation statuses and many critical functions. An EDI third-party provider is used to provide the application and technical platform, but this position is responsible to ensure a healthy, efficient EDI environment is maintained, and all issues are resolved in a timely manner. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: * Associate degree with2-4 years of relevant experience, or equivalent. * Expert knowledge of core EDI standards, formats and transactions, including but not limited to 850 PO, 855 PO Acknowledgement, 810 Invoice, 856 ASN. * Experience in mapping, troubleshooting transaction failures, and coordinating testing between trading partners and EDI providers. * Strong communication and organization skills * Must be able to work independently with little work direction PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or similar field SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT: Office environment / no specific or unusual physical or environmental demands.
