The Account Manager will be responsible for nurturing and managing key customer relationships while identifying and developing new business opportunities for ArtiFlex. Successful candidates will possess a deep understanding of metal stamping, tooling, and automation, along with proven success in agricultural and/or military sales, customer relationship management (CRM), and business development.

ArtiFlex Manufacturing provides design, tooling, prototyping, automation, and low volume tooling and production runs for our customers.

We are seeking a candidate who will work in the Agriculture and Military Vehicle markets, on a remote basis - based out of their home location in Wisconsin, Illinois or Iowa, reporting to our VP of Sales in our Troy, Michigan offices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Agricultural and Military Land Vehicles markets.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Understand customer needs and challenges, offering tailored solutions to meet their technical and business requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and quality service, addressing any issues that may arise.
  • Manage contract renewals, pricing adjustments, and ongoing negotiations to optimize account profitability.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and product demonstrations to prospective customers.
  • Assist with development and execution of business development plans to expand the company's market presence.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote ArtiFlex's solutions and build relationships with potential partners.
  • Use data to analyze sales trends, forecast revenue, and track business development performance.
  • Collaborate with marketing to create targeted campaigns and outreach initiatives based on SalesForce.com and data insights.
  • Provide regular reports on account status, business development progress, and analytics to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Successful business relationships with Agriculture or Military Land Vehicle customers.
  • 5+ years of experience in account management and/or business development.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and technical specifications related to metal stamping and tooling.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing business relationships.
  • Experience managing and utilizing CRM systems to drive customer engagement and business growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites, industry events, and company locations as required.

This position requires candidates have either US Citizenship or US Permanent Resident Alien Status.
