As a Business Acceptance Consultant, you will conduct back-office review and firm-acceptance of Inforce Account Maintenance business submissions related to Brokerage, Direct and Third-Party Advisory accounts. Additionally, it is expected that you will assist when needed with Brokerage/Advisory Transfer of Assets and Money Movement items for Business Acceptance, Suitability and Best Interest requirements. Daily and monthly responsibilities

  • What your days and weeks will include.
  • Conduct back-office review and firm-acceptance of Inforce Account Maintenance business submissions related to Brokerage, Direct and Third-Party Advisory accounts. Additionally, it is expected that you will assist when needed with Brokerage/Advisory Transfer of Assets and Money Movement items for Business Acceptance, Suitability and Best Interest requirements.

  • Review trading activity of registered representatives through supervisory control procedures and application of firm policies and procedures and will require the associate to eventually become a subject matter expert for all previously referenced lines of Inforce Business, including a solid understanding of our platforms and systems.

  • Determine root cause of issues, provide solutions, and resolve matters independently without management supervision at times.

  • Implementation and management of operational and supervisory procedures for the firm.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with registered representatives, agency personnel, and internal business partners such as Compliance, Field Inspection, and Regional Supervisory Directors. Specialized regulatory review of securities such as Options trading and Municipal Securities may be required. Involved daily in complex problem resolution requiring higher level critical thinking.

  • Consult with registered representatives, Agency Supervisory Officers and Regional Supervisory Directors, providing guidance on suitability concerns and guidelines.

  • Consistently identify and report to management on trending and risk mitigation measures.

Required skills and qualifications

  • The qualifications that are needed for this role:
  • FINRA Series 7 & 24 required at time of application

  • 3+ years' experience

  • Superior customer service skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills; team player, self-motivated; patient demeanor; approachable style

  • High aptitude for effective problem resolution.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills are essential.

Description We're looking for a Business Operations Consultant, Advice & Financial Planning to join the Advice & Financial Planning team. In this role, you'll be accountable for leading and executing business management responsibilities around marketing programs & collateral, internal A&FP audit programs, FieldNet development to maximize A&FP resources, regulatory changes and general business updates, changes and enhancements. This will include the following responsibilities: * Work as the subject matter expert and business process owner to develop workflow, process and documentation to operationalize A&FP capabilities * Manage and accountable for implementation of assigned business initiatives, from concept approval through delivery * Liaison with Business Operations and other business partners to support effective management of A&FP new business and services * Act as communications liaison for A&FP on such things as newsletters, project/program communications and business updates including facilitation of concepts, key messaging and positioning with executives and stakeholders, reviewing initial drafts and facilitate development of related business collateral * Proactively researches and applies best practices in terms of solution design and recommendation taking business capabilities, cost, speed to market, innovation and other critical objectives into account. * Support A&FP management after initial strategy delivery to monitor and, collaborate with stakeholders and business partners to identify and successfully resolve issues and improvement to opportunities and communicate resolution * Partner with business sponsors and stakeholders to set objectives and goals; prioritize multiple activities and projects, and understand the company strategic objectives * Change agent and process owner of Continuous Improvement events involving A&FP Basic Qualifications: * 10 years of experience financial service * 5 years of experience presenting and influencing leadership and key stakeholders * Demonstrated experience managing several projects simultaneously * Advanced knowledge and experience using Microsoft Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree Why Join Us.
