As a Business Systems Analyst Sr. within PNC's Retail Business Performance Management organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA.

You will play a key role on an Agile Crew supporting the PNC Investments business unit. A key aspect of the role is to perform data analysis and have a working knowledge of SQL and relational database. Concise communication skills are critical, as well as the willingness to learn new technologies, and be an advocate for our customers. We are looking for a pro-active and inquisitive team player to help drive our critical initiatives forward. Ability to lead crew ceremonies, such as backlog refinement is also a key skill for the successful candidate.

Specific Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Product Owner to build and maintain a healthy project backlog.

  • Create User Stories that are detailed, clear and concise, including meaningful Acceptance Criteria.

  • Strive to be a Subject Matter expert for the product and applications you are supporting.

  • Agile experience

  • JIRA

  • Swagger Editor

  • Working knowledge of any API testing tools like POSTMAN, Rest Client, SOAPUI etc.

  • Formulates and defines the system scope and objectives, based on user needs and business processes .

  • Directs business process improvement projects for internal business groups, aiming to improve business results .

  • Provides recommendations for addressing and resolving business issues, for a specific business group .

Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Job Description : JOB SUMMARY This position is responsible for system configuration implementation of the strategic business and functional infrastructure of the underlying systems that support the respective business platforms for the Medicaid Business Unit market served by Highmark. Performs configuration change management activities related to benefits, business rules, screen design and functionality, templates, workflows, provider contracts, user task analysis, personalization to different plans, and user interface design and design requirements for system setup, configurations, and onboarding of new plans/providers. Translates configuration rules, fee schedules, contract terms, provider data, code sets and benefits into system parameters to ensure accurate managed care operations (i.e., enrollment & billing, claims processing, etc). This job supports one or more analytical aspects of the application product life cycle, including capability enablement with cross-team dependencies within a product scope. Uses significant judgement and discretion to collaborate with customers on complex issues in order to understand capability needs, gather project specifications, create business cases and cost sheet analysis, translate high-level business needs into detailed requirements for new capabilities (and change request/enhancements on existing capabilities), analyze data to determine business problems, trends, or opportunities for process improvements, create/execute test cases, provide root cause analysis and corrective action plan, verify delivery of customer needs, and ensure quality delivery.
