As a(n) Bus Systems Analyst Conslt (ACFR Strategy and Innovation) within PNC's ACFR organization, you will be based anywhere PNC has a footprint or remote.

Job Description

  • Provides solutions for IT and business management on applying technology to business opportunities, planning and implementation of cross-functional applications.

  • Participates in identifying, evaluating, and configuring systems that are cost effective and meet business requirements .

  • Monitors client experiences and feedback on the use of business applications; Enhanced system productivity, as needed .

  • Provides senior level consulting services to internal business groups on process improvement projects designed to improve their business results .

  • Analyzes, defines and documents clients requirements, and revises existing systems logic challenges, as necessary .

  • Knowledge of the technical language and writing approach, and the ability to write paper-based and on-line technical reference documentation (guidelines, standards, procedures, processes, applications, etc.)

Workflow Analysis

  • Knowledge of and ability to manage IT work activities, processes and progress within a system to improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness.

Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience. Certifications are often desired. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.

The scope of work covers the entire lifecycle to include programmatic support, logistics support, supply support, maintenance planning, documentation and training development, cybersecurity, training implementation, customer support, IT infrastructure, and business applications. These efforts shall address supportability, maintainability, and sustainability issues during system development and throughout the systems life and retirement or recapitalization of the systems at end of life. Efforts will also include systems engineering, hardware engineering, software engineering, network engineering, configuration management, and Test and Evaluation (T&E). Primary Skills & Responsibilities: * Provided and follow an agile software development and design approach that may include: User-Centered Design (UCD) throughout the software life cycle; lean product management and requirements gathering processes; extreme programming practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD), Pair Programming, and short development iterations, DevOps practices such as Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery (CI\CD); automated testing and accreditation pipelines; Domain-Driven Design (DDD), emergent design, and evolvable architecture methodologies; and resilient cloud native, canary, and blue-green deployment environments. * Develop system and network architectures, as well as design system components and subsystems that will provide required functional capabilities, consolidated functionality, or improved performance to existing systems. * Provide modeling, prototyping, COTS selection, proof of concept studies, feasibility and costing studies, and technical reports. * Develop technical specifications for COTS and developmental systems and components including technical drawings, diagrams, and graphic designs. * Experience with the identification of performance risk and assessing vulnerabilities and threats against classified and unclassified network systems operating in a strategic, operational, and tactical environment. * Minimum of ten (10) years of direct full-time software and design experience.
