Corporate Risk helps all Wells Fargo businesses identify and manage risk. The team focuses on several key risk types, including conduct, credit, financial crimes, information security, interest rate, liquidity, market, model, operational, regulatory compliance, reputation, strategic, and technology risk.
The group provides leadership, enhances communications, assists with problem identification and solutions, and shares best practices. In addition, the group provides an enterprise-wide view of risk, assists management and our Board of Directors in identifying and monitoring risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and takes appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.
The Corporate Risk Control Executive Team has primary responsibility to manage front line risk for Corporate Risk business lines in a comprehensive and effective manner and promote adherence to the Risk Management Framework. The Corporate Risk Control
This Front line risk support role provides leadership and subject matter expertise for Regulatory Control across all the functions in the Corporate Risk organization. Reporting to the Regulatory Control Leader for Corporate Risk, the team is seeking a highly motivated team member to serve as a Business Risk and Control Manager. The leader will be responsible for Regulatory Control working alongside a team of Financial Crimes, Fraud and Conduct business risk and control officers supporting Corporate Risk business lines. This position is responsible for working with Corporate Risk CE team partners and Corporate Risk business teams to implement the requirements of revised or newly published compliance policies, procedures and guidance. A successful candidate for this position will have proven leadership skills and deep knowledge of compliance principles within multiple regulatory and non-regulatory risk types and have the ability to work with partners in the IRM Compliance Organization, Other Risk Programs and Corporate Risk stakeholders to provide compliance subject matter expertise to ensure compliance requirements are meet according to the Compliance Program Policy. Furthermore, as regulatory changes are introduced to the inventory, ensuring resulting policy requirements are fully implemented in lines of business where there is impact. The consultant will maintain awareness of regulatory changes, key compliance policies and procedures, and partner with individuals authorized to develop and implement compliance requirements across Corporate Risk business lines.
Specific duties for this position include, but are not limited to:
Accomplish management responsibilities including but not limited too ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members and lead the team with integrity by creating an environment where Team Members feel included, valued, and supported
Provide ongoing expertise of existing compliance and corporate policies to ensure they are managed appropriately as required by the Compliance Program Policy
Partner with stakeholder aligned Corporate Risk CE teams to assess level of policy impact/ applicability and implement new or revised compliance policy requirements in their respective lines of business
Communicate regulatory requirements in new or revised policies, procedures and guidance to ensure stakeholder awareness and tracking to completion and ensure ongoing maintenance of Corporate Risk associated requirements as outlined in the Compliance Program Policy and corresponding procedures

Requires a leader with extensive regulatory/compliance experience including in adherence to Compliance Program Policy (for example Risk Measurement, Issues Management, Self Assurance), strong relationship management skills, proven success in building partnerships, collaborating and influencing adherence to Compliance program policy requirements
Demonstrated experiencing working on large scale Compliance Plan work streams
Demonstrated experience working within Control Executive Organizations
Demonstrated success with collaborating, as well as positively influencing business units to identify, formulate and implement processes/procedures to mitigate risk
