The Business Process Improvement Analyst will be responsible for advancing the Medtronic Performance System (MPS) across the Medtronic's Grand Rapids Site. The position will help lead a cross-functional team through Lean Transformations focused on lean flow of material and information where capital investment is being made.

A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Leads the implementation of Lean Transformations using tools such as Value Stream Mapping and Analysis, 5S, Standardized Work, and Problem Solving in a manufacturing facility

• Facilitates events with cross-functional participants

• Monitor, track, and report implementation plans and progress of projects

• Analyzes and designs sequence of operations and workflow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities

• May assist with training and coaching for personnel on their Yellow Belt projects

• Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems.

• On the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods.

• Position reports to the site OpEx Sr. Manager

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

• Bachelors degree required

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience

Nice to Have

• Lean Six Sigma training with Green Belt certification

• Project management

• Kaizen facilitation experience
