Under general supervision of the Manager of Transportation or designee and with the direction from the Dispatcher, the Bus Driver operates a school bus in a safe manner at all times to transport children including those with disabilities over designated routes and ensure the safety of passengers at all times.

Requirements / Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Any combination of education equivalent to a high school diploma
Any combination of training and experience which has provided the applicant with the required knowledge and abilities to successfully perform job duties Licenses and Certifications:
A valid Class B-PS (Passenger School Bus) California Operator's License
California Special Driver's certificate issued every five (5) years by the California Highway Patrol
A valid Medical Certificate
Maintain valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
Certificate Copy (California Special Driver's certificate issued every five (5) years by the California Highway Patrol)
Driver's License Copy (Class B)
Letter of Introduction
Letter(s) of Recommendation (3 Letters Required)
Other (valid Medical Certificate)
Proof of HS Graduation
Resume
Comments and Other Information
Desirable Qualifications: - Three (3) years of school bus driving experience
