• Friday hours may vary depending on district needs

• 8:00 am & 1:30 pm

• 3:30 pm

• route times will vary based on route assignment and selection at the Transportation Bid in September. This position will begin with a base pay of 4.0 hours/day and additional time will be paid off of a time sheet until the changes following the bid take effect.

start date is contingent upon clearance of background screening

through the FBI and Washington State Patrol.

Additional Information: The person hired into this position may be required to work on multiple routes based on department and district need.

Salary: $22.58 - $26.73 dependent on placement

Job Summary:

This position will be responsible for completion of the following items in addition to those listed in the Job Description (see above)

• Must pass random drug testing as required by law and must undergo a medical examination prior to training.

• Must successfully pass the Department of Transportation physical capabilities test.

• Minimum age of 21 years old.

• Required to have a valid First Aid card including CPR and training for HIV/AIDS procedures.

• Successful Washington State Patrol and Federal Bureau of Investigation Fingerprint Clearance.

• Valid Washington State driver's license or evidence of mobility and valid Washington State school bus driver certificate.

• Proof of Immunization (if born 1/1/57 or later).

• I-9 Employment Eligibility in compliance with the Immigrations Reform and Control Act.

• Completion of all district-required trainings within thirty (30) calendar days from hire date with the exception of CDL training which could go beyond thirty (30) calendar days.
