The Vehicle Driver ensures that the bus is regularly maintained and safe for driving under all applicable state and municipal regulations. The Vehicle Driver may step into an Assistant Teacher or other role as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport children in a bus or van from one loving, educational environment to another with a smiling face!

  • Have and maintain a safe and violation free driving record.

  • Ensure the safety of each child by maintaining vehicle functionality on a regular basis as well as implement safety procedures with their school director.

  • Have countless advancement opportunities through our on-going training and expansive network of centers and brands.

Job Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record

  • An understanding of all current state and local regulations

  • A High School diploma or equivalent

  • Flexibility as to the hours and schedule of work

  • 0-1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility strongly preferred

  • Must be at least 21 years of age

All current and newly hired employees who are unvaccinated will be required to adhere to onsite safety protocols. Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking a Bus Driver in the Ft. Bragg, NC area. This position processes and monitors all administrative Military Air (MilAir), Unit Movement Data, Processing, and Non-Tactical Vehicle Fleet Programs for Headquarters (HQ), United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) and its subordinate commands/units under the auspices of the USASOC G-4. The bus driver provides movement of personnel in support of USASOC and its subordinate units. Contractor will be capable of providing movement of 80 passengers at any given time. Manage approximately 175 assigned vehicles ensuring a current dispatch is maintained, all maintenance is performed as required, replacement vehicles are tracked, vehicles are rotated based on usage, and requests for additional vehicles are processed through the G-4. Provide movement of non-tactical vehicles to and from maintenance facilities, motor pool, and other locations as required. Provide preventive maintenance checks and services to general dispatch fleet and ensure vehicles are clean and prepared for the next customer. Monitor fleet monitoring devices for operational status, unauthorized use, speeding, and excessive idling. Conduct troubleshooting techniques on fleet monitoring devices as necessary. May be required to remain in a standby or on call status after the conclusion of the normal duty day/week. Basic Qualifications: * Possess a valid, unencumbered state driver's license. * Possess and maintain Class "B" Commercial Driver's License with passenger endorsement. * Be able to drive Government-owned trucks, buses, vans and cars. * Possess excellent work ethic, verbal and written communication skills, and be detailed and accurate in performing all functions. * Ability to obtain a secret security clearance, and must have an interim secret clearance prior to start so therefore all candidates must be a US Citizen. #MFCVETS Desired Skills: * May be required to travel on military aircraft during the performance of normal job duties. * Be able to operate a standalone computer without assistance and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications. * Be able to perform duties independently, with minimal oversight.
