Description:

Bus Aide

$13.00 per hour

Job Summary:

This person will:

1.Assist the bus driver in maintaining safe student conduct on the bus.

2.Assist young or disabled students in getting on and off the bus.

3.Provide assistance to student(s) boarding and exiting the bus.

4.Assist driver in assuring students depart the bus in orderly fashion.

5.Collect items left on the bus by students and take to the Transportation Office.

6.Maintain confidentiality.

7.Other duties as assigned by the Director of Transportation

Qualifications:

1.High school diploma or equivalent.

2.Ability to work effectively with students and adults.

3.Regular attendance and punctuality.

4.Physical ability to stoop, crouch, reach a child in a wheelchair and secure a wheelchair

5.Responsible attitude toward the safety and well being of students.
