Burner Service Technician

Superior Plus Propane is currently in search of an individual that is highly self-driven and experienced in Heating Oil/Boiler systems and service. The Burner Service Technician will provide top of class service to our customers while always ensuring compliance with codes and safety policies. The Burner Service Technician will report directly to the Service Manager.

Position Responsibilities and Expectations:

• Primary focus and experience on burner service and prime and starts on systems

• Able to troubleshoot and identify customer equipment issues as needed

• Perform routine and annual maintenance as necessary on customer equipment

• Respond to customer emergencies as needed

• Rotate "on call" status during evenings and weekends as needed

• Consistently communicate proactively with the Service Manager, CSC Manager, Dispatcher, Sales reps, drivers, and customers as necessary

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree

• MA Burner's License required

• Prefer 2 years job-related experience

• Positive attitude and great communication skills

• Must have valid Driver License

This role is for a Compressed Work Week

A Compressed Work Week will have the following work schedule: 4 x 8-hour days, in the warmest 6 months of the year (April

• September) and 4 x 10-hour days in the coldest 6 months of the year (October

• March).
