Under the direction of the Director of Nutrition Services, assists in the oversight, management, and administration of district-wide Nutrition Services programs; conducts onsite inspections of central and school site kitchens and monitors food production and preparation, safety and sanitation to ensure compliance with District, federal and state regulations and policies; assists in the development and implementation of operation and training policies; trains, supervises, and evaluates assigned Nutrition Services personnel; assumes responsibility of the Nutrition Services program in the absence of the Director of Nutrition Services.
