JOB SUMMARY: The Building Services Technician plays a critical role in helping maintain safe, orderly, sanitary, and above all, inviting educational facilities at NDSCS. Duties and services associated with this position include custodial work and minor maintenance.

Currently, there are several opportunities for a Building Services Technician at NDSCS, with varying shifts available:

Academic Buildings

• Academic Year (August-May) 12:30-9 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 9 a.m.

• 5:30 p.m. Friday

• Summer 8 a.m.

• 5 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 8 a.m.

• 2:30 p.m. Friday

EveningsMonday-Friday 2-10:30 p.m.Residential Life BuildingsMonday-Friday 6 a.m.

• 2:30 p.m.

SALARY: Starting at $32,400, commensurate with education and experience

Required Competencies

• Must support the mission, vision, and values of NDSCS

• High school diploma, or equivalent

• Ability to work independently and as a team

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to operate mechanical cleaning equipment, or willingness to be trained

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ year related experience

• 1+ year floor care/maintenance experience

• Valid driver's license

• Basic computer skills

• Ability to perform minor building and equipment repairs
