We are seeking a Building Officer for the Limited Area Production Storage Complex (LAPSC) utilized for D5 Missile and Reentry Systems (RES) processing for the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM). This position is located at the Strategic Weapons Facility Pacific (SWFPAC) in Silverdale, WA at Naval Base Kitsap (NBK)-Submarine Base Bangor, Washington.
In this role you will:
Interact frequently with various government and contractor organizations.
Coordinate weapons processing
Lead salaried and represented employees
Ensure building compliance to ordnance processing and safety requirements.
Be familiar with and understand the technical attributes of systems such as air, water, electrical, Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC), High Security Doors (HSDs) to enable the coordination of maintenance, diagnosis and repair of facility issues.
Some second shift work will be required as well as minimal travel to other LM sites.

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as engineering, technology or science from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience/combined education, with 3 years of professional experience; or 1 year with a related Masters degree.
Proficiency in computer skills, specifically Microsoft office tools.
Technical acumen to understand technical characteristics of facility systems operation.
Ability to obtain and maintain membership in the Personnel Reliability Program and the Radiological Controls Program.
US Citizenship is required. Cannot be a dual citizen. Interim Secret clearance is required prior to start with the ability to qualify for and maintain a top-secret security clearance.
