The Building Materials Associate is responsible for processing transactions and supporting location personnel. Must be available for Saturday shifts.
Greet customers as they arrive and provide them with information about products and/or services;
Accurately and efficiently process customer transactions including purchase orders, stock receipts, sales orders, credit notes, etc.;
Proactively respond to customer questions and concerns, providing excellent customer service;
Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by supervisor and other location personnel;
Complete required documentation for incoming/outgoing materials;
Inspect and maintain supplies and equipment;
Adhere to company safety standards and procedures.
Work effectively with minimal supervision and direction;
Excellent customer service skills;
Able to perform accurate measurement and basic calculations;
Strong written and verbal communication skills;
Punctual and reliable;
High School Diploma or GED;
Must be able to lead small groups of employees;
Must demonstrate ability to motivate and direct groups of employees;
Must be available Saturdays;
Must be available to work with limited supervision;
Must be 18 or older (to drive forklift and run equipment.
