The Building Materials Associate in the Rental Department is responsible for working with customers who are renting equipment at the Springville Sunpro location.
Write rental contracts:
accurately/thoroughly complete contract
check "rentals out" every day
check "charges out" every day
Schedule pickup and delivery of equipment
Maintain daily contract file
Maintain rental reservation file
Maintain customer charge file
Update/Call overdue list daily
Locate and accurately quote rental rates
Answer incoming phone calls; 1st or 2nd answer, depending on situation up front
Service rental equipment
Know equipment operating capabilities
Restock merchandise shelves
Load and unload equipment
Schedule deliveries and pickups
Handle customer complaints
Answer customer equipment inquiries
Instruct customers on equipment operation
Explain rates on contracts to customer
Assist with equipment repairs
Maintain clean display area:
counter & floor behind counter
dust displays and merchandise in showroom
Assume other employee responsibilities when required
Maintain communication and strong relationships store staff
Attend store and safety meetings
Perform other duties as assigned
Work effectively with minimal supervision and direction.
