City of Seguin BUILDING MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN SUMMARY OF POSITION : Assists with maintenance of city facilities. EXAMPLES OF WORK : Essential Duties Performs electrical work including ditching and installation of conduit, wiring, etc. Performs basic electrical maintenance including replacing light bulbs, ballasts, receptacles, fixtures, etc.; Performs plumbing work including new installations, repair, and maintenance of all City buildings and facilities; Performs foundation work including concrete forming and placement; Performs building tasks including general framing and finish work; Paints City buildings and facilities; Operates all types of hand and power tools; Operates different types of equipment; Performs minor repairs on tools and equipment; Performs landscaping; Assists in designing systems including electrical, plumbing, irrigation, building, etc.; Provides support in the means of physical labor as needed in other departments; Observes all safety rules and procedures; and Other Important Duties Performs such other duties as may be required.

ACCEPTABLE EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING : High school graduation, plus experience in preventive maintenance and repairs in order to work on various equipment, buildings, and facilities. CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES REQUIRED : State of Texas Class C driver's license.

• Starting Pay: $18.55 - 19.98/hour (Dependent upon experience) -Position Will Remain Open Until Filled
