Building & Maintenance Positions (Multiple Locations)

CDYMCA is currently hiring for multiple maintenance and custodial positions across various locations. These roles are integral to ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of our facilities.

CURRENT OPENINGS: 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts for all positions

• CUSTODIAN - Full Time & Part Time hours

• CUSTODIAN TECHNICIAN - Full Time & Part Time hours

• CUSTODIAN TECHNICIAN - Full Time 40 hours a week, Greenbush Branch, Days, some evenings/weekends possible

• MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - Full Time & Part Time hours

CUSTODIAN - $15.00 PER HOUR - GENERAL CLEANING, SANITIZING, AND SEASONAL GROUNDS CARE OF THE ASSIGNED FACILTY.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• One year prior experience in custodial work is preferred.

• Excellent human relation skills and communication skills.

• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.

• Ability to report and record maintenance requests.

• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment.

• Basic understanding of the upkeep and care of equipment.

• Understanding of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use.

CUSTODIAN TECHNICIAN - $17.93 PER HOUR - SHIFT LEAD, BASIC REPAIRS, GENERAL CLEANING, SANITIZING, AND SEASONAL GROUNDS CARE OF THE ASSIGNED FACILTY.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• One year prior experience in custodial work preferred.

• Prior supervisory experience is preferred.

• Excellent human relation skills and communication skills.

• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.

• Ability to report and record maintenance requests.

• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment.

• Basic understanding of the upkeep and care of equipment.

• Understanding of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - $21.35 PER HOUR - GENERAL MAINTENANCE & REPAIRS OF THE ASSIGNED FACILITY.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3-5 years prior experience in maintenance and repair work.

• Certified Pool Operator certification preferred.

• Excellent human relation skills and communication skills.

• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.

• Ability to manage and perform maintenance requests.

• Basic understanding of the upkeep and care of equipment.
