Medical City Weatherford is a 103-bed, all private room hospital that includes a network of medical clinics serving Parker County. The dedicated and experienced medical staff represents more than 31 medical specialties. Medical City Weatherford's comprehensive health care services encompass inpatient and outpatient care, and medical, surgical and emergency care, to name a few. The hospital has received numerous awards and recognition, including Press Ganey Summit Award, The Joint Commission's Top Performer in Key Quality Measures and The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval.
The Maintenance Mechanic performs a performs a variety of duties inside and outside the Hospital complex, and other buildings as needed.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Fire Alarm & Related Components
Electrical Systems (Normal & Emergency)
Plumbing, Painting/drywall repair
Ceiling Tile replacement
Door alignment and hardware repair
Minor flooring repair
Various HVAC repairs
Preventative Maintenance assignments
Will also be placed in the ON CALL rotation, per department schedule.
This individual will also respond to "Code White" announcements, and/or reports of escalating behavior while on duty, as requested.
High School Diploma or Equovalent
Three years in healthcare mechanical / electrical plant operations
Current driver license with clear driving record
De-escalation and Intervention Training within 90 days of hire
