Willdan Engineering has a current opening for a Part-Time ICC Certified Building Inspector in the Roseville, California area. The qualified individual will be responsible for inspections of residential, commercial, industrial and other buildings during and after construction.

Requirements include:

  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

  • Must have ICC certifications or ability to obtain certifications within 1 year

  • 3-5 years' experience

  • Municipal experience highly desirable

Multiple openings are available, throughout the Sacramento Region and Northern California. Our offices are located in Oakland, San Francisco, Irvine, Richmond, Humboldt, Sacramento, Stockton, and San Jose.</p><ul> <li>Knowledge of principles, practices, techniques, and terminology of inspection and civil engineering; </li> <li>Knowledge of surveying and construction methods, materials testing and equipment; </li> <li>Ability to determine quality, materials, and workmanship through inspection, and to determine compliance with specifications;</li> <li>Ability to write and prepare clear and concise field reports;</li> </ul><p>Experience with Caltrans procedures highly looked for, but not required.
