You will be part of a dynamic, growing and energized team and your role is key to the success of ECS. While your job duties may fluctuate day to day, here are some areas we expect to see you proficient in:

  • Being a team builder with the ability to both bring in and do the work

  • Developing staff and getting our name out in the marketplace

  • Managing and mentoring of a geographically dispersed team of building science engineering staff

  • Client and business development, as well as assisting other staff in marketing our services

  • An affinity for marketing and business development

  • Managing a profitable P&L

  • Property Conditional Assessments and investigative analysis of existing facilities, building envelope design document, constructability reviews, and building envelope consulting

  • Surveys, testing, analysis, and design of repairs to existing building elements and systems, including roofing, masonry/flashings, EIFS, waterproofing, curtain wall, and window assemblies

  • Understanding all building types commercial, industrial, institutional, governmental, and multi-family residential

What We're Looking For

  • BS in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field required; MS degree preferred

  • 10 15 years of consulting experience related to building envelopes, engineering design, or inspection

  • Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE)

  • Experience in consulting and/or with a consulting firm is required

  • The person selected for this role will be put on the ECS Principal track.*
