Building Engineer

The Building Engineer supports operation, inspection, and maintenance processes to mechanical, HVAC, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems

Responsibilities:

• Complete assigned tasks that include but are not limited to the tasks and systems associated: painting, pressure washing/cleaning, maintaining lighting system bulbs/ballasts (as allowed by any licensing requirements), plumbing, HVAC systems, water treatment, hanging pictures, repair office furniture, locksmith work and general maintenance

• Maintain work order system (CMMS) daily and complete any tenant service requests

• Moves office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials as requested

• Perform assigned preventive maintenance and inspection tasks

• Support on-call or emergency response situations (if applicable)

• Troubleshoot all building systems, including electrical, DDC and pneumatic controls

• Comply with all safety procedures

• Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs

• Other projects and tasks to be assigned

Qualifications & Skills:

• Thorough understanding of Electricity and Controls, Plumbing, HVAC, fire sprinkler and life safety systems

• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing and to read instructions, blueprints and drawings.

• Proficient in the operation of a PC and varied types of programs

• General building maintenance skills (Drywall repair, concrete patching, floor and wall finishes)

• Work well with Facility Operation, Internal Services and Headquarters Services Teams; Tenants; Contractors; Vendors and Government Entities

Hire Range/Rate:

$55,000 - $67,000

Actual compensation offered to candidate will be finalized at offer and may be above or below the posted range due to skill level, experience, industry specific knowledge, education/certifications, or geographic location. The offer rate represents one component of the RE/MAX Holdings total compensation package. Employees will also receive a number of benefits as listed below. Other compensation for this position may include bonus eligibility.
