The Building Engineer supports operation, inspection, and maintenance processes to mechanical, HVAC, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems
Responsibilities:
Complete assigned tasks that include but are not limited to the tasks and systems associated: painting, pressure washing/cleaning, maintaining lighting system bulbs/ballasts (as allowed by any licensing requirements), plumbing, HVAC systems, water treatment, hanging pictures, repair office furniture, locksmith work and general maintenance
Maintain work order system (CMMS) daily and complete any tenant service requests
Moves office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials as requested
Perform assigned preventive maintenance and inspection tasks
Support on-call or emergency response situations (if applicable)
Troubleshoot all building systems, including electrical, DDC and pneumatic controls
Comply with all safety procedures
Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs
Other projects and tasks to be assigned
Qualifications & Skills:
Thorough understanding of Electricity and Controls, Plumbing, HVAC, fire sprinkler and life safety systems
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing and to read instructions, blueprints and drawings.
Proficient in the operation of a PC and varied types of programs
General building maintenance skills (Drywall repair, concrete patching, floor and wall finishes)
Work well with Facility Operation, Internal Services and Headquarters Services Teams; Tenants; Contractors; Vendors and Government Entities
Hire Range/Rate:
$55,000 - $67,000
Actual compensation offered to candidate will be finalized at offer and may be above or below the posted range due to skill level, experience, industry specific knowledge, education/certifications, or geographic location. The offer rate represents one component of the RE/MAX Holdings total compensation package. Employees will also receive a number of benefits as listed below. Other compensation for this position may include bonus eligibility.
